We’re On A Mission From GOD!

Welcome to the Trussell’s On A Mission Blog. So glad you dropped by. We will try our best to up date this blog weekly so that you can stay up to date with all the craziness going on in our lives.

If you don’t know by now, Terry and I have been called to the mission field of Uruguay. It is a small country about the size of Tennessee toward the end of South America. We are on the coast sandwiched in between Argentina & Brazil.

The country speaks Spanish, however they are not like what we might think of as Spanish. I know I thought it would be like Mexico, however, I could not have been futher from the truth. Uruguay is more along the lines of European. They don’t really go for “Hot and Spicy” food, more on the Italian side. Which I love!!!!

Terry and I visited there this past Thanksgiving. The city we will live in is called Atlantida and is on the coast about 30 minutes from Buenos Aries. So Yes, Christ has called us to be “Missionaries on the Beach”. Kind of funny I think.

Terry is so glad that this is where God has called us but most of you know, I am not an outdoor kind of gal. Although I like to look at the beach and walk on the beach, I really do not have any affection for the sand! Oh well I am sure that God will help me to overcome.

While were were in Uruguay we stayed at “La Mission” a ministry similar to Mastors Commission from the Church of God.  Bart & Katherin Gross are the Directors.  The photo above is just outside of La Mission.

Katherin Gross is from Uruguay and her parents are Senior Pastors at Mt. Sinai.  Terry was able to minister to the church while we were there.

We will share more about our trip, but I got to go to church now!
